June 3, 2003 –  Victory Brewing/Amoroso's got a huge win today, with Gina Grain outsprinting the pack by a full length to take the 50k criterium, the second stage of the day.  After numerous attempts by Saturn and T-Mobile to create some moves, the race ended up being a massive sprint to the line that saw British Champion Nicole Cooke (Britain) come second, followed by Team Canada's Erin Carter.  Genevieve Jeanson (RONA-Esker) kept her overall lead.
