April 4, 2011 (Meerbeke, Belgium) – Here are more photos from the 2011 Tour of Flanders that dates back to 1913 and is one of the monuments on the European professional calendar. Part of the UCI World Tour it is one of the most important cycling races in Belgium featuring many famous cobblestone sections and climbs like the Kluisberg and Koppenberg. Its nickname is Vlaanderens mooiste (Dutch for “Flanders’ finest”).This year’s race was won by Nick Nuyens (Bel) Saxo Bank Sungard – full results and more photos here.
