April 19, 2006 – Mark your calendars, there’s a new Criterium to add! On the eve of Friday, July 14th, the City of Burnaby is making a welcome return to the bicycle road racing scene with its first annual Giro di Burnaby Criterium!

With a prize purse of $10 000, scheduling that may well see top North American racers taking part, and a course designed in conjunction with long-time strongman, Min Van Velzen, the Tour Di Burnaby is a welcome new addition to the ranks of Cycling BC’s already outstanding race calendar.
