May 25, 2009 – Cycling Prince Edward Island is pleased to announce our newest event. We are holding a two-day, three-stage, amateur, Tour de PEI race on June 6-7, with a Time trial, road race and crit stages and great purse for the Elite level categories – a total of $1,300 in Prizes!

1st – $300, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100, 4th – $50 – For both Male and Female Elite Categories
(Participants Required per category for payouts… 1st 10+, 2nd 6+, 3rd 3+)

Cost: $50 On-line pre-registration, $65 On-site.

Notes:
– Must have a valid UCI race license or a Cycling PEI Citizen Series license to participate.
– All riders will need to have a certified cycling helmet.
– Must sign a waiver morning of first stage entered, cyclists under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign waiver
