September 12, 2007 – The first half stage of the second stage is a 9.1 km TT, basically 4.5 km uphill on a narrow road and a 4.5km downhill. Alex Wrubleski finished 5th, 15 seconds behind winner Moreno Allue from Spain. Alex is now sitting in 3rd place on GC, only six seconds behind the new leader, Priska Doppmann from Switzerland.

Other Canadian TT results are Leigh Hobson (15th at 0:43), Alison Testroete (28th at 1:04), Erinne Willock (29th at 1:06), Julie Beveridge (42th at 1:23) and finally Moriah Jo McGregor (94th at 2:51). Also, Wrubleski is leading the young classification and Beveridge is 12th. Team Canada is 5th in the team GC (first nation).

This afternoon is the second half of the stage, 93km with three cols: two second category and one first category. Precious potential UCI for Canada.
