May 16, 2016 (Germany) – Alexander Cowan led Team RaceClean Canada with a solid 11th place overall as the Tour de Berlin wrapped up today with another crash on the final 151.2km Stage 4, slowing down the team’s efforts again. Adam Jamieson finished 20th and Edward Walsh was 33rd.

Apparently on the previous Stage 3 Willem Boersma was leading out Cowan for the final sprint at 200m from the finish when another rider jumped in front but slowed down while blocking them resulting in a crash that sent Boersma to the hospital. Despite some stitches he started the final Stage 4 but DNF’d.
