Tour de Beauce Stage 1 – Mancebo Wins, Roth 2nd

June 12, 2012 (Lac-Etchemin, QC) – Clear sunny weather greeted riders at the 27th annual Tour de Beauce that began today with the traditional 162km circuit race on Stage 1 in Lac-Etchemin, won by defending champ Francisco Mancebo (Esp)  Competitive Cyclist who signaled his intentions to keep his crown. Canada’s Ryan Roth delivered a podium for the country’s top team, SpiderTech powered by  C10, claiming second with Matthias Friedemann (Ger) Champion System Pro Cycling Team in third. A field of 100+ riders from 17 countries have gathered to battle the renowned 6-stage Tour de Beauce that runs from June 12-17.
