June 11, 2011 (Toronto, ON) – We just got word that Eon D’Ornellas, 59, the popular and well-known owner of D’Ornellas Bike Shop in Scarborough, was hospitalized yesterday after he crashed on his bike during a club training ride. It’s believed that he suffered a stroke and the latest word is that the 4-time Olympian and former National Team member is in stable condition at York Hospital. We join the cycling community in wishing Eon a speedy recovery.
