June 19, 2009 (Unionville, ON) – On a humid and cool evening, with a slow wind (18C, 82%, NNE @ 5kph), Ed Veal won the the Midweek/Labicicletta TNTT (Thursday Night time Trial) in Unionville, Ontario. LaBicicletta’s Veal was the fastest and set a new 14.8 km course record for 2009 at 19:30. It was an international event, Midweek Club welcomed Anthony Walsh from the University College of Dublin, Ireland, and Armada Racing’s Chad Luedtke from Orlando, FL. Not only did Walsh win the rider from farthest, he also won the most unusual ride as he clocked a respectable 21:26 on a single speed fixed gear TT rig.
