Sporten.TV2 has asked team owner Oleg Tinkoff (also spelled Tinkov): “Are you trying to get Peter Sagan for your team for next season?”

“Of course I am, and we compete hard with the likes of Alonso, Cannondale and some others,” Tinkoff says as part of a long answer, joking about his wife and her Lamborghini before admitting the deal is not signed yet. That audio is in English at the link below.

The Russian registered WorldTour Team Tinkoff-Saxo is based in Denmark and was previously known as “Team Saxo Bank.” Despite having riders like Alberto Contador Velasco, the new owner, Oleg Tinkoff, is far from satisfied with what he has seen in the spring from its newly-acquired crew. Therefore Tinkoff now ready to spend money recruiting more top riders for the coming seasons.
