September 9, 2007 (Dieppe, NB) – Today’s temperatures were dramatically cooler than the previous three days of competition. Though they warmed up later in the afternoon they were accompanied by higher winds as well which just added to the difficulties facing riders. This is the first time that the Omnium has ever been held in this country. It lets the riders who have overall strength to show their abilities in a grueling 5-event one-day schedule.
