Hundreds of athletes from more than 20 nations are anticipated to compete for just over a dozen medals. More than 60,000 spectators are expected at the event which runs from January 31 to February 1 in 2015.

“On top of being dedicated and hard-working athletes, these three are ambassadors and role models for the sport of cycling. I can’t think of a more deserving trio to represent Canada at the World Championships”, says Manitoba Cycling Association Executive Director Twila Pitcher.

Participation by all athletes in the 2014 cyclo-cross World Championships is entirely self-funded.  A fundraiser on January 10th, 2015 will help to raise funds for the trip.
