March 13, 2008 (London, Ontario) – On Monday afternoon March 17th the CBC Television – yes that’s CBC – will be at the Forest City Velodrome to shoot “The Mercer Report”. The TV show is one of the most popular weekly shows on the CBC network.

The film crew will arrive at the velodrome by 1pm on March 17. Mr. Mercer will take the Track 1 course to prepare himself for the Recreational Ride that the show’s producer would like the members of the FCV to participate in.

We have to make sure everyone is safe so the early part of the ride after 4pm will be staged (don’t be disapointed) if you only get on the track for a short period of time. We also need spectators to populate the home stretch grandstands.

This event will be a bunch of fun and this will get the FCV National coverage…. this type of National media coverage will help promote London and our fantastic facility.

Please plan to come to the Velodrome to watch after 1pm if you like. The doors will open at 12:30pm.
