November 13, 2009 – It’s with immense pleasure that we announce the creation of a new elite men’s Canadian cycling team: Team Spirit/Cannondale presented by ( ). “We will have two major sponsors; one of which is Cannondale, and the other will be revealed soon. Consequently the blank space is not a typo; but rather a marketing strategy,” explains the team’s sport and communication director, Erik Lyman.

Team Spirit/Cannondale is recruiting four senior elite and three U23 riders for the 2010 season and expects to race across Quebec, Ontario, and New England. The team is close to naming its senior riders, but is still considering U23 riders. Interested riders should forward their resumes to the team manager at benjimx@live.ca. Such resumes will be considered until November 20.

Team Spirit/Cannondale will soon reveal its 2010 squad, the names of all its sponsors, pertinent internet links, a summary calendar, and the team colours.
