November 02, 2011 (Montreal, QC) – Canada’s only UCI continental women’s road cycling team, Juvéderm Specialized Mazda, is looking for a new title sponsor to replace Juvéderm. One of the managers, Malcolm Eade, is no longer with the team, leaving Michael Des Ilets and Gerard Penarroya in charge. Des Ilets contacted Pedal with the news and promised to send an announcement of the 2012 team composition as soon as this is finalized.

“Juvéderm will be dropped – we are still looking for another title sponsor. Undoubtedly it will help if we could add another one prior to the coming season. Some riders are coming while some are going. We will let you know by mid-December as always,” said Des Ilets.

However according to Eade he politely declined participating in 2012 with Juvederm, a product from a company he operates, as the program was not going in the direction he felt was expedient.
