SunTour – Stage 5

October 13, 2005 – Canada’s Dom Perras has taken the lead of the SunTour in Australia, after breaking away with FDJ’s Baden Cooke. With just two stages to go – an uphill 11km TT and a 40km criterium, things are looking good for the Quebec native. The true test should be the TT where Perras needs to stave off strong climbers like AG2R’s Simon Gerrans. Perras, an excellent climber himself, definitely has the odds on his side.
