March 07, 2015 (Siena, Italy) – Zdenek Stybar (Cze) Etixx-Quick Step bested Greg Van Avermaet (Bel) BMC Racing in the final push to the line to claim the win in the men’s 200km Strade Bianche Eroica with Alejandro Valverde (Esp) Movistar 3rd. The trio broke away with 20km to go as Van Avermaet attacked first but Stybar was ready and delivered his own counter punch for the victory.
