March 4, 2008 – We’ve teamed up with Andreas Hestler, one of North America’s most celebrated cross-country riders, on an exclusive spring training camp in Mexico’s Copper Canyon region. “Spring training camps are one of the best ways to concentrate your efforts in that last push to start the season, says Hestler, the 5-time Canadian National Champ and former Olympian. “Like the pros, getting together to build your base and discuss seasonal logistics and share knowledge, training camps benefit all riders and should be worked into everyone’s program.”

The Copper Canyon region is perfect for training with an endless network of buffed singletrack in an arid Sedona Arizona-like landscape. While getting fit with Hestler, riders will explore a constantly changing landscape and jaw-dropping views that rival the Grand Canyon while cycling amongst the indigenous Tarahumara people, some of the most primitive in North America.
