March 28, 2008 (London, ON) – With the Ontario Road Racing season starting a week late because of the amount of snow that will not melt. The Forest City Velodrome is hosting a Rider Appreciation night on Saturday April 5th. The temperature is sure to be above 5 degrees and the forecast indicates dry conditions for fast wheel to wheel action.

Team Pursuits, Team Sprints, Sprint Tournament, “Fastest backwards lap” plus a couple of Madisons for good measure are the events planned for the evening. Velo-Kids, Cadets, Juniors, Women, Masters and Elite racers are invited to have some fun on the boards.

No entry fees, No admission, Free advice from the concession booth, and much more.

Racing begins early on Saturday April 5th. Racing may begin before 7pm to pump up the Value for our parents and spectators who come out to watch racing programs.
