March 23, 2017 (Ottawa, ON) – Sneaky Socks launches a  custom cycling sock design service and sock-of-the-month club. Founded by professional mountain bike racer, Evan McNeely, in 2016; Sneaky Socks is a cycling sock brand specializing in unique sock designs.

McNeely released two designs, Picket Fence and We Do Diagonal, on the Sneaky Socks platform in December of 2015. Spurred on by this creative process and with help from University friend Nick Petersen, McNeely purchased a sock knitting machine and yarn, with the intent of producing the socks in house. “People have a hard time taking me seriously when I explain this to them,” says McNeely.

Year One: the time it took from receiving the sock machine to producing socks that met Sneaky Socks standards. “We basically re-engineered the cycling sock from scratch, listening to the preferences and reviews of Canadian riders,” McNeely remarks, when speaking about the process. “ We wanted a cycling sock that was super breathable and lightweight, made from natural materials where possible, and conducive to intricate design work. I am really happy with how everything is turning out. First reviews are really good.”
