September 28, 2007 (Peterborough, ON) – A jury headed by Kozo Shimano selected the winning videos of the Shimano/YouTube contest at the first day of the Interbike show in Las Vegas. The contest, organized by Carlton Reid of Bikebiz.co.uk and sponsored by Shimano Europe, had an impressive 134 entries by the August 30th deadline. Videos were based on the theme: “˜I want to ride by bicycle’.

In addition to Kozo Shimano, the other judges were Interbike’s Rich Kelly, TV commentators Phil Liggett and Bob Roll and members of the Spokesmen podcast (www.the-spokesmen.com) David Bernstein, Tim Jackson, Donna Tocci, Tim Grahl and Carlton Reid.

The jury decided to award three video makers with prizes provided by Shimano:
