August 17, 2010 (North Vancouver, BC) – Sebastian Salas (Team H&R Block) and Megan Rathwell (Aviawest-Blue Competition Sports) won the 12.2km men’s and women’s 16th Annual Seymour Challenge presented by Riley Law on Sunday, August 8 in North Vancouver. Salas logged a winning time of 34:41, while Rathwell topped the women’s field in 45:05, despite the misty rain that prevailed for the duration of the race. Mike Ryan (Team TNA/Shape Masters) in the 55-60 age group won the Sparrowhawk cup with a time of 39:36. The Scott Fraser award went to 17-year-old Joel Johnson (Balance Point Racing) of Vernon who placed an impressive fourth overall in 36:39.
