Seamus McGrath Now Riding for Felt Bicycles

March 23 2006 – Cross country phenom Seamus McGrath is firmly back in the saddle again with a bronze medal in the Men’s Cross Country in the Commonwealth Games in Australia and a brand new partner in the U.S.A in Southern California based Felt Bicycles.

Riding a combination of the scandium/carbon RXC Team and RXC Pro frames with Shimano XTR components, ‘Shamoe’ is confident his new super light race set-ups will put him firmly back in contention as one of the best riders in the world. McGrath will also train on the company’s exclusive design carbon road frames.

Happy with his progress so far this year, McGrath said “I’m totally psyched to be riding with Felt this year. I’ve seen their technology in the past and I knew they built a sick bike. It’s great to be working with such a fast growing company and I’m looking forward to building on the Bronze in Melbourne with them.”

McGrath will also compete in world cup events as part of the Canada national team, along with select races throughout North America. “The 2008 Olympics is obviously on my radar screen and Felt is a great partner to help me look towards that goal”, he added.

Beverly Lucas, the company’s marketing manager said “Shamoe is a great fit for us. His combination of sheer talent and experience in the sport of mountain biking and super-competitive nature guarantees putting Felt on the podium. His medal in the Games proves that and we’re extremely proud to put our name on his back.”

McGrath’s results will be featured on www.feltbicycles.com throughout the season.
