April 16, 2016 (Monterey, California) – Chris Prendergast (Can) H&R Block Pro Cycling led the Canadians in the Pro 1/2 Men’s 10 laps/73-min road race on Day 1 at Sea Otter as Ulises Castillo (USA) KHS-Maxxis-JL Velo  took the win. Jack Burke (Can) H&R Block Pro Cycling finished 7th with James Piccoli (Can) Superissimo in 8th. No Canadian women were on the start line for the Pro 1/2 Women’s 6-lap (46 min) race won by Diane Moug (USA).
