“Sako 7 is one of the freshest brands in road cycling right now, the infusion of their design language and colour story into the more conservative Road cycling segment has been received very well across the globe.

From the “Pro-Solitude” model to the “New York Hipster” edition that was influenced by the cult movie “The Gangs of New York”, SAKO7 has been able to carve our new niches within the road cycling community.  Now it’s time to take Sako 7 to the next level with some fabulous new products” replied Peter Appleton.

Over the next year Sako 7 will introduce line extensions and begin implementing more vertical integration, including bringing all distribution in house to be managed by Peter Appleton’s SB Sports Inc.  SB Sports Inc currently works with Bont Cycling, Sako 7, Dundas Speed Shop and Ritte Cycles.

“Up until now SAKO7SOCKS have been distributed globally by Defeet and their host of international partners.  Defeet will remain our manufacturer but all distribution will be handled SB Sports Inc.  We will evaluate existing distribution partners and will also be bringing on new partners.  Last year saw almost 55000 pairs of socks sold in over 40 different countries and we’re going to work with that loyal customer base to take the brand to even higher grounds” commented Peter Appleton.
