Ryder Hesjedal Going Strong In Germany

August 22, 2005 – MTB’er turned roadie Ryder Hesjedal (Discovery Channel) is back at it again at the Tour of Germany, after a short racing break – and is going strong. The lanky British Columbian has been hanging tough with the big boys. Gerolsteiner’s Levin Leipheimer leads the 9-stage race after today’s final TT over T-Mobile’s Jan Ullrich, who took the race against the clock. Hesjedal took a solid 25th today, 2.35 mins behind the German.
