January 31, 2005 – Hello everyone. I got the team’s first win of the year in the first Texas Cup race, the “Omloop Whatever Lake Is In Flemish” circuit race on January 29th. I won a field sprint of about 60 riders or so in the one hour event. I also started the Green Valley Grand Prix, also in Texas, the next day, but after bridging to the winning break I flatted with no wheel service and ended up back in the bunch before the bolt that holds the saddle to post came loose and I pulled out.
