January 12, 2006 – The Tour of Langkawi has the Genting Highlands. The Tour de France has the legendary Alp d’Huez and now the RWR/Peak winter Series has Mt. Durand. Second and third place went to Ride with Rendall Team riders, Glen Rendall (43:10.6) and Derrick St.John (43:39.9), and kept the podium filled with Ottawa riders.

She distanced herself from the other riders with a time of 45:21.2. Cynthia Clark took second, while Montreal’s Antonietta Lambo broke the Ottawa stronghold on the podium to finish third
