RWR / Peak Winter Series – Stage 6

January 26, 2005 – Stage 6 of the RWR/ Peak Winter series is now complete after returning to the time trial course that was previously used in the series.

Since records are meant to be broken, OBC’s Aaron Fillion set out to get his course record back from Mike Nash who had handily beaten Aaron in the last tt. At the end of the day, Aarron’s new time of 34.36.7 stood as the new record on a course characterized by false flats and shallow climbs. Warren MacDonald from the Ride with Rendall team was the closest rider to Aaron with a solid 36:19.2.

38.02.6 continues to be the bench mark and a rather elusive number in the woman’s category despite the podium rides by Team Biovale’s Natasha Elliot (38.56.9), Jen Stevenson (40.06.8) and Ride with Rendall’s Cynthia Clark (41.16.2). Further results will be available later today on ridewithrendall.com
