Roland Green Hangs Up The Cleats

October 20, 2005 – While there has been no official announcement, Canada’s Roland Green has publicly stated that he will no longer race professionally. Green will always be remembered for making history as the first Canadian male to win the MTB world title at the 2001 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Vail, Colorado. In that same year he also carved his name in Canada’s MTB history books by winning two World Cup MTB events and the overall Tissot UCI/MTB World Cup series title. Green repeated as 2002 MTB Worlds champ winning countless races with many top results. Stay tuned for a full interview with the Victoria, B.C. native.
