Rocky Mountain Bicycles Opens New Head Office

by Chris Redden
July 01, 2013 (Vancouver, BC) – Rocky Mountain Bicycles officially opened their new head office with a log sawing ceremony on June 28th. Raymond Dutil, the president of Procycle that owns Rocky and Miele brands, was on hand for the opening. The new facility brings all of Rocky’s sales, marketing and R&D under one roof.

The facilty is a living art gallery to Rocky’s storied past and award-winning bikes that they have produced over the years. Suzie Q and Altitude TO frames adorn the wall showcasing all of the great rides that put Rocky on the global map of cycling.

The back of the facilty has everything they need to create a bike from scratch. There are CNC and milling machines along with a full weld shop. Prototypes go through the paces in the destructive testing area to see how they will hold up over the lifetime of the bike.

The entire staff is stoked about the new location, so expect big things for these guys over the next few years.
