Rio 2016 Olympic Women’s Time Trial Results – Whitten 7th, Canuel 13th

August 10, 2016 (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) – Canada’s Tara Whitten finished a strong 7th overall in the women’s 29.9km ITT today as Kristin Armstrong (United States) claimed her third consecutive Olympic gold medal for a historic finish to today’s race.

Olga Zabelinskaya (Russia) was second and Anna van der Breggen (Netherlands), who won gold in the women’s road race was third. Fellow Canuck Karol-Ann Canuel placed 13th.
