November 05, 2013 – Veteran Quebec roadie, Bruno Langlois, is among the new additions to the 10-man 2014 roster of the UCI Continental men’s 5-hour ENERGY® presented by Kenda Racing Team according to a team release. The team, owned and managed by On The Rivet Management, also confirmed that 5-hour ENERGY continues as the title sponsor, while presenting sponsorship stays with KENDA Tires and Canadian bike manufacturer Cycles Devinci.

Langlois, a 34-year-old road cyclist from Matane, has been riding for Garneau-Quebecor since 2012. Langlois was declared KOM at the 2012 WorldTour Grands Prix Cyclistes in Quebec City and has multiple wins under his belt including a stage win at the Tour de Beauce.

The most notable departure on the team is three-time NRC individual champion Francisco Mancebo. The 37-year-old pro cyclist has signed with Skydive Dubai, a new UCI Continental Europe team, based in United Arab Emirates and located closer to Mancebo’s family in Spain. Returning as Directeur Sportif is Frankie Andreu, a veteran of nine editions of the Tour de France.

Meanwhile, Quebecer Hendrik Pineda will ride for Belgium-based T.Palm-PCWin 2014 as a U23 rider reports the Belgian cycling new site Velo Wallon.

Pineda, who was selected as a junior rider for the 2013 UCI Worlds, rode with RVS Péruwelz-Bury this season. He also won two stages of the 2013 Tour de l’Abitibi.
