March 30, 2006 – Open to kids 8-12 years old, this clinic is designed to introduce theÂ FUNdamental skills ofÂ the CCA Sprockids National Introduction to Cycling Program in a fun enjoyable atmosphere.Â Â
The program is geared towards mountain bike skills, also covering cycling safety and ettiquette. Sprockids Master Course Conductor, and National CyclingÂ Centre Hamilton (NCC-H) Assistant and Development coachÂ John Holman and instructors fromÂ theÂ NCC-H will be conducting this 3-hour program at the Ancaster Community centre on Sunday April 9 from 10:30am until 1:30pm.
Taking place on the same day as the 13th annual Paris to Ancaster bicycle race, the program includes both on the bike instruction and classroom sessions. Â In addition, participants will have an opportunity to discuss all things cycling with special guest speaker, Brandon Crichton, of the Symmetrics Professional Cycling Team.
The $12 registration fee includes lunch , a souvenir waterbottle, and reserved space in the Sprockids VIP viewing area for the Â finish of the Paris to Ancaster bicycle race.
