Peter Morse Euro \’Cross Report

January 8, 2005 – Hi there, I have been in Holland for a week racing cross. Greg Reain is here now after his Belgian experience. We are staying with a local club until the Worlds in Germany at the end of the month.

All I can say is that the level here is very high, even in B races. I expected no less. Personally, it will be great to have this experience. Racing cross in Europe is something I’ve always wanted to do.

It is so windy today. Yesterday we rode in similar conditions, we were leaned over pretty far to stay up on the bikes. The wind was very strong.

We’re off to Otegem Belgium on Monday for an A level race. The best in the World will be there, as well as 50 000 fans at least. Next week we’ll head to Luxembourg, and the week after to the Hoogerheide World Cup in Holland. The Worlds are the following weekend in St Wendel Germany.

I’d like to thank Chain Reaction, my new sponsor, for their help. Also, Roces for the North Wave shoes and all others who have helped me get here, you know who you are, thank you.

We’ll keep you posted.

Peter Morse
