Pedal’s 2015 Tour de France Contest Standings after Stage 9

by pedalmag.com

July 13, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – With over 350 teams entered this year we’re pleased to announce the standings from Pedal’s annual TdF Contest following Stage 9. The Grand Prize this year is a Felt AR5 Carbon Aero Road Bike valued at $2,699 with lots of other great prizes as well totalling over $9,500.

There has been lots of action during the first week of the Tour leading up to the first rest day including the unfortunate departure of yellow jersey leader, Tony Martin (Ger) Etixx – Quick-Step, on Stage 6 due to a crash resulting in a collarbone fracture and we wish Martin a speedy recovery.

Meanwhile Team ETTA!! has jumped in the contest lead with 482 points followed by Charlotte’s Sprinters tied in second with alsboys both with 451 points. Only one point behind in fourth is Team SCOOTER!! with 450 points and then it’s team WINNING in fifth with 442 points.

Check out the contest standings after Stage 9 HERE.

Good luck to all contestants and thanks to all of our great sponsors including Felt, Rudy Project, BionX, Easton, Specialized, Velofix, Louis Garneau, MEC, Bicycle Art and Birzman.
