The battle for Best Overall Cyclist (Male or Female) is very close with Emily Batty and the Women’s Team Pursuit just ahead of Raphael Gagne, and Jasmin Glaesser. And guess who’s leading the Best Overall Senior/U23 Male Cyclist category… ? Benjamin Perry with Gagne in hot pursuit.
In the Junior Men’s battle it’s Jordann Jones out front but Quinton Disera is making a charge while there’s a VERY close 3-way battle for the Best Overall Junior Female Cyclist between Amelia Bell, Katherine Maine and Soren Meeuwisse.
And how about this… for the Best Track Senior Cyclist (Male or Female) it’s neck and neck aka tie between the WTP and MTP with Hugo Barrette gathering speed.
It’s too early to call anything but for now Ruby West has stamped her authority on the CX award, Tory Nyhaug leads the BMX battle and Shelley Gauthier is your Para-leader…
Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard – and remember these awards recognize all of the top talent in Canada from juniors, to seniors, to U23’s and paracyclists – from all disciplines including road, MTB, DH, cyclocross, track and BMX.
Every province has riders contributing with many stand-out cycling moment/performances from 2015 from Jasmin Glaesser’s four medals at the TO2105 Pan Am Games, to Raphael Gagne’s amazing season that began with winning the US CUP Pro XCT Series, to Allison Beveridge taking home Ominum Track World Cup gold, and Monique Sullivan winning a historic three golds at the TO2105 Pan Am Games… enough said.
