July 14, 2015 (St. Catharines, Ont.) The Heart and Stroke Foundation will host their Fit for Heart, Pedal 100 event this year on Sunday, Aug. 16, in the beautiful Niagara wine region with a 100km route beginning and ending at Niagara’s Welland Canal.

Riders are encouraged to sign up as a team or individually and help raise funds for life-giving research in heart disease and stroke. General registration is $60. All riders must register on-line prior to the event date HERE.

There are two routes offered. The 100km route begins at 8am with riders completing Loop 1 and then Loop 2. The 50km route starts at 9am with riders completing Loop 2 only. All riders must be back to sign in by 3pm. Helmets are mandatory for all participants.

Registration begins at 7:30am at Grantham Lions Club – 732 Niagara Street, St. Catharines, ON L2M 7W7. Riders should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their route start time in order to check in.
