August 05, 2011 (Port Dalhousie, ON) – Help give Canadians MORE TIME. There’s still time to register for the Pedal 100 for Heart and Stroke. Join us on Sunday, August 14 at Henley Island to raise critical funds for heart and stroke research by taking a ride through Niagara’s beautiful wine country. Fully supported routes of 30km, 60km, 100km, and 160km. The registration fee is $40 per person.
– Online Registration is easy – click HERE.
– By phone (905) 938-8800 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
– Or register on site at the Pedal 100 event on Aug. 14
Each rider is encouraged to raise a minimum pledge of $50. These pledges can be collected online at fitforheart.ca/pedal100 or in person by printing a pledge form from the website. Participants can also earn incentives prizes through Fit for Heart for their fundraising efforts!
Groundbreaking research projects require your support for continued funding like Dr. Pare’s McMaster University project which is currently trying to identify rare genes in young stroke cases, which could provide explanations and eventually prognostic information to individuals suffering from early stroke.
Your support will help facilitate the changes we need to protect our children’s future health by improving their access to healthy foods and active play. Put your heart into it today and sign up for the Pedal 100 for Heart&Stroke.
See you at the start line and happy riding!
