Participation Quotas for 2007 Elite/U23 Men\’s Road Worlds

August 17, 2007 – Based on the regulations approved by its Management Committee on January 26, 2007, the International Cycling Union has established the list of the qualified countries and their respective quotas of riders for the Men Elite and Men Under 23 categories, for the 2007 UCI Road World Championships road races.

Through the UCI America Tour, Canada has qualified five Elite men, three of whom may start at the World Championships. For the U23 Men, 10 have qualified, five of whom may start at the Worlds. The Road World Championships will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, September 26 to 30.

Update of the Qualifications as of August 15, 2007
Each nation has a precise number of riders defined by the different UCI rankings at 15 August 2007.
