August 13, 2006 — Open Casting Call – earn up to $5,000. Male road cyclists (Cat 1, 2 or 3) wanted for U.S. TV commercial. Our casting company will be conducting auditions from August 12-29.

We are searching for male riders with extensive experience to be featured in an upcoming commercial for an investment services company. The commercial shoots for three days.

AUGUST 12, 13, 14, 2006, IN GREATER VANCOUVER.

Payment for this job could be up to $5,000 should you be selected and recognizable in the final cut.

This commercial is open to MEN aged 20 — 40 years old

We will be casting Canadian Non-Union Talent. Please refer to information below:

Media: Network, spot, cable, internet, industrial

– Option#1 for Print (National Newspapers/National Magazines) to be negotiated up front prior to booking)

– Option #2 for Direct Mail (Insert for national lists) to be negotiated up front prior to booking)

Territory: US including Puerto Rico, possessions and territories.
(Internet Worldwide-all formats)

Term: One year with options for years 2, 3, 4. (Option for additional years to be excercised or released prior to the end of the preceding year).

Exclusivity: Investment Services (This means that the hero cyclists that are recognizable in final version of commercial, couldn’t appear in any advertisement in the US, for another investment services company during the first year, or during the “option years” if “option” is excercised.)

“CYCLIST”:
Male cyclists that exhibit a high level of skill and technique in the cycling competition discipline. Age range approx. 24-37. It is most important that they are excellent cyclists at the top of their sport. Cyclists will be working and portrayed with other road race cyclists. We are looking for varied ethnicities. Casting: 7 Hero Cyclists + (5 Cycling Doubles as back-ups)
20 “extra” cyclists as part of a group.

Audition Wardrobe: Cyclists to wear “cycling outfits” while auditioning & bring own road racing bike/helmet/eyewear/footwear

Rehearsal and callback date: 9/6 or 9/7

Shoot Dates: September 12,13 14, (3-day commitment)

Shoot Location: Scenic roadway outside Vancouver, BC (TBD)

NOTE:

RATES:
Hero Athlete Session Fee: $900.00 Cdn (per day- includes own equipment)

Athlete “Double’s” and “Extras” Session Fee: $500.00 Cdn (per day- includes own equipment)

Buyout**: $4,500.00 Cdn for the first year + option for years 2, 3 & 4.

**Please note: only those athletes recognizable in the final cut of the commercial will be eligible for the buyout noted above. Buyout to be paid upon final edit.
