September 10, 2008 – ExtremeRoad.com is pleased to present the 2008 Ontario Provincial ITT Championships on Sunday September 14 in Plattsville, Ontario. This is race #11 of the prestigious Ontario Cup Road Series and the series final.

The new course for the ITT Championships travels along smooth, fast roads over a mainly flat course that gently rises to the turnaround point, before sending riders blasting back towards the finish on a likely wind-assisted downhill run. Please note that the long course distance has been recently updated to be 37km after adjusting the turnaround point so as to avoid built-up areas.

New for 2008 — Expanded Categories and New Equipment
A full slate of 17 different categories including IPC-CP 2 and Master 50+ Women will be racing starting at 10h00. Also, this year we are planning on incorporating some new equipment into the mix including a brand new start ramp and a photo-electronic timing system for the start.

On-line pre-registration is mandatory and is available at www.ontariocycling.org. On-line pre-registration closes at midnight Thursday, September 11, 2008.
