August 02, 2011 – Quick-Step Cycling Team is pleased to announce that Omega Pharma/Belgian Cycling Company (BCC) has joined the team. Starting January 1st, 2012, the team managed by Patrick Lefevere will be officially named Team Omega Pharma-Quick Step. Omega Pharma will be the team’s major sponsor for the following two seasons (2012-2013), with an option for one more year. Quick-Step will support the team for the next three years as co-sponsor. Innergetic will remain as official partner of the team for the next season.

“We are very pleased with the deal we reached with Omega Pharma/BCC, as much as we are about Quick Step’s renewal as co-sponsor and Innergetic as official partner,” explained Team Manager Patrick Lefevere. “I would like to thank everyone involved for their professionalism during the negotiations.”
