October 30, 2005 – The OCA, with the support of the Ontario Trillium foundation, will be enhancing the Cycling Celebration weekend and hosting a number of events on November 19th and 20th.

Saturday November 19th
9:30am-10am: Club President’s reception
10am-11:15am: Club Presidents meeting

11:20am-12:30am: Focus on youth cycling: Doug Detwiller – Sprockids inventor
(this part of the meeting will be opened up to all interested Sprockid leader groups)

12:30pm to 1:30pm Lunch

1:45pm to 3:15pm Seminar #1: Winning Event Sponsorships
Guest Speaker: Laird Knight, USA Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member, IEG Sponsorship seminar professional speaker

3:30pm to 5:00pm Seminar #2
Event Organization focused on Road Racing
Guest Speaker: Chuck Hodge – Technical Director for Tour de Georgia and upcoming Tour de California

Cycling Celebration – sponsored by Cadillac Bicycles – all attendees will be entered into a draw to win a Cadillac Elite Road Series – RLE1.8 !

5:00pm — 6:00pm Reception: (hors d’oerves & drinks)
6:00pm-7:00pm OCA Awards -and special presentations to all Canada Summer Games athletes.
7:15pm — 9:00pm: Dinner
9:00pm onwards – festivities continue with DJ Krishna

The seminars will be free for OCA members and space will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. There will be a nominal fee for lun h, dinner and the awards night.
