January 27, 2015 (Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Cycling’s Events Committee along with our organizers are pleased to announce the 2015 Event Calendar! 2015 is shaping up to be the most exciting year for the sport of Cycling with the Pan-Am Games taking place right here in our own backyard. In addition to those events, we will be running a new Ontario Cup and Youth Cup series which will take place out of the new Mattamy National Cycling Centre.

The Cross Country Mountain Bike membership have a number of events to compete in come 2015, including two Canada Cups on our home turf as well as a jam packed O-Cup calendar with the series wrapping up Highland Nordic for the 2015 Provincial Championships.

The competitive Road season will start early with the historic Good Friday Road Race, followed closely by Calabogie Classic. A key event taking place outside the O-Cup series is the newly sanctioned Kitchener Grand Prix Criterium, which has been given a National level sanction by Cycling Canada. A special mention is made for Bruce Bird who has come forward to run the 2015 Road and ITT Provincial Championships taking place in May.
