April 23, 2014 (Port Angeles, WA) – The first round of the NW DH Cup took place in Port Angeles, WA on the weekend. The series opener saw Canadians dominate the top four spots in the pro women’s category, led by Miranda Miller (Specialized/SRAM MTB). Vaea Verbeek (Intense/GoPro/Troy Lee Designs) finished second, followed by Danice Uyesugi (Intense National) in third.

The pro men’s competition also saw Canucks on the podium, with Remi Gauvin (PerformX Commencal) finishing second behind American Kevin Aiello (KHS Factory Team). Canada’s Kyle Sangers (PerformX Commencal) took third spot.
