Numainville 2nd at Winston-Salem Cycling Classic

April 18, 2014 (Winston-Salem, NC) – Reigning Canadian road champ, Joelle Numainville (Can) Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies, claimed 2nd behind winner Shelley Olds (USA) Alé Cipollini in the bunch sprint to the line at the 91km Winston-Salem Cycling Classic women’s professional road race on Friday – Eugenia Bujak of Poland (BTC City Ljubljana) was third. The criterium comprised of eight laps of an 11.5-km circuit. Fellow Canuck Lex Albrecht (Twenty16 Professional Cycling Team) was 6th and former Canadian road champ, Denise Ramsden (Can) Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies, was 10th.
