Norco Unveils 05 Team Carbon At Symmetrics Camp

January 28, 2005 – Norco Performance Bikes, Canada’s top race supporter had the pleasure of unveiling its exciting new Team Carbon road bike at the recent Symmetrics Training Camp in Langley, BC. Despite unusually frigid temperatures, the team arrived for the weekend enthusiastic to see their new steeds, and amped to spend some time training and getting to know one another.

“The foul weather meant little time on the bikes outdoors,” wrote Eric Wohlberg in his online diary, ìbut I still had a chance to dial in my new Norco CRR Team Carbon.” Peter Stace-Smith and Dave Overgaard from Norco came out one evening to give us a great rundown on our new bikes and the Norco business.” Eric goes on to say that, “Since my return, I’ve done a 1000km on the Team Carbon, and can say that it is my all-time favorite road bike.”

n addition to receiving their new bikes, the team also spent the weekend doing on and off the bike training (including some snowshoe runs), a group ride with the media that brought out over 40 riders (despite the cold), a photo shoot, and most importantly, spending time getting to know one another and having lots of laughs.

The Symmetrics Cycling Team was established in the spring of 2002 and its vision is to develop the abilities of team members, promote the sport of cycling in Canada, and contribute to the community. In the past three years Symmetrics has risen quickly to become the #1 rated race team in Canada.
