Brett Tivers Injured in Crash at Joe Martin Stage Race

by Pasquale Stalteri

April 28, 2012 (Fayetteville, Arkansas) – Garneau-Quebecor ace rider from New Zealand, Brett Tivers, was knocked unconscious yesterday during a multi-rider pile up at the Stage 2 road race during the Joe Martin Stage Race in Arkansas. Tivers has apparently suffered another broken collar bone, third of his career, and is presently on his way back to Quebec City awaiting surgery. An injury of this nature could have Tivers sitting out the next 4-6 weeks barring any further complications due to possible concussion-related issues.
