February 24, 2015 (Ontario) – Trek Stores of Toronto, Barrie and Aurora are the proud new Presenting Sponsors for the Summer and Fall Epic 8 Hour Mountain Bike Relay events. These events are some of the most FUN mountain bike events of the season, and the Trek Stores are encouraging a whole new level of excitement and comradery for 2015!

The Trek Stores are supporting the ongoing Summer Reggae and Fall Rock & Roll themes for the events with Live Bands and Trek Demo’s. Trek will also be hosting corporate, ambassador and VIP teams, in a massive pit area open to all participants. Expect great wheel of fortune draw prizes, and special guests for these events.

Barry Near of Trek Store is leading the charge in attracting new riders. “We’re really excited to be the presenting sponsor of the Summer and Fall 8 Hour events for 2015. I’ve participated in these event’s for over 8 years now and what I love about them is the comradery!  They take you back to when the whole mountain bike scene was first starting, and same minded people got together to ride, compete and just have a great time in the outdoors.”

2015 will feature two new 5-6 rider categories. The 5-6 person “Club” category is for cycling clubs and teams, and the 5-6 person “Corporate”
category for company, business or office teams. The Corporate category is focused on fun and participation, with a modified new-rider friendly course, so you can convince your work colleagues to come out and join the fun! Corporate and Club teams can request access to dedicated pit areas. Bike rentals, lessons and guided pre-rides can also be arranged, to make these events open to everyone.
